Privacy Policy
Last updated: 12 August 2026
This policy explains what data codefarm.in (operated by Arvind Kumar) collects and how it is used, for the site itself and for ebook, mentorship, and cohort purchases.
What we collect
- Purchase details: name, email, and (for mentorship/cohorts) phone number, submitted when you buy an ebook, book a mentorship session, or register for a cohort.
- Payment data: payments are handled entirely by Razorpay. We never receive or store your card, UPI, or bank account details — only the resulting order and payment IDs needed to confirm your purchase.
- Usage data: basic access logs (e.g. IP address, timestamp) are recorded when you use a download link, solely to detect abuse of shared links and enforce download limits.
How we use it
Purchase data is used to deliver what you paid for (send ebook download links, confirm and schedule mentorship/cohort sessions), respond to support requests, and maintain records required for accounting and dispute resolution. We do not sell your data.
Where it's stored
Purchase and booking records are stored in a Supabase (Postgres) database with row-level security enabled and no public access — only server-side systems can read or write this data. Razorpay independently retains payment records as required by Indian payment regulations.
Third parties
We use Razorpay for payment processing and Resend for transactional email (order confirmations, download links, session notifications). Each operates under its own privacy policy for the data it processes on our behalf.
Your rights
You can request a copy of the data we hold about you, or request it be deleted (subject to records we're required to keep for legal/accounting purposes), by contacting us.
